How Enrollment Actually Works
You enroll, you pick a weekly time slot with your teacher, and billing runs automatically each month. Tuition covers four 30-minute private sessions per month. That slot is yours for as long as you are enrolled — it does not get resold week to week.
There is no registration fee to start and no re-enrollment fee in the fall. Recital fees, technology fees, and digital music folders are already inside the monthly rate, so the number you are quoted is the number you are billed.
What Happens If You Need to Stop
Let your studio know before your next billing date and enrollment ends after the month you have already paid for. You are not charged a penalty, and you are not asked to justify it. Life changes — sports seasons, moves, budgets, a kid who wants to try something else for a while.
If you come back later, you come back. There is no re-enrollment fee and no penalty for having taken a break. A fair number of our students left for a season and returned.
Why Some Schools Use Contracts
Long contracts protect the school, not the family. They smooth out a studio's revenue and reduce the pressure to keep every student happy every month. That is a legitimate business choice, and it is simply not the one we made.
The tradeoff is that we have to be worth re-choosing every single month. It is a useful discipline. It is also, we think, why our four studios hold more five-star Google reviews than any other music school in the Omaha metro.

- Tell your studio before your next billing date. Enrollment ends after the month you have already paid for. There is no penalty and no written notice period beyond that.
- Is there a registration or enrollment fee?

- What if my child wants to switch instruments or teachers?
- That is normal and it does not require re-enrolling. Talk to your studio and we will work out the change — a different teacher, a different instrument, or a different time slot.
- Can I pause lessons over the summer?
- Yes. Some families pause for a season and pick back up. There is no penalty for stopping and no fee to return, though your original time slot may not still be open when you come back.
