Flute, Violin & More Lessons FAQs in Omaha

Do you actually teach bass guitar, or just guitar?
Yes, real bass guitar instruction — not a guitar teacher improvising. Our bass instructors teach real technique, groove, theory, and how to lock in with a drummer, whether you're a complete beginner or a guitarist making the switch.
What if my kid wants to play a school band instrument like trumpet, clarinet, or saxophone?
We teach those one-on-one — brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba) and woodwinds (flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe). Private lessons focus on tone production, embouchure, breathing, fingerings, and reading — exactly the individual attention a group school band class doesn't have time for.
Do you teach percussion beyond a full drum kit?
Yes — snare, mallets, and concert percussion, in addition to full drum kit. This is especially useful for school band students who want private reinforcement of what they're already learning in class.
Can my child switch instruments if the first one isn't the right fit?
Yes, easily. Because there are no long-term contracts, switching instruments or teachers is just a conversation, not a renegotiation. It happens more than you'd think, and it's never treated as a problem.
Can siblings each learn a different instrument at the same studio?
Definitely — it's common. One kid on drums, one on flute, one on bass, all at the same location on the same visit if schedules line up. Multi-student families also get a reduced per-student rate, so it's usually cheaper per kid than enrolling just one.
How much do lessons cost for bass guitar or band instruments?
Same structure as every instrument we teach: sessions billed in 30-minute increments, sold in prepaid monthly packages. The total varies depending on how many students you're enrolling and how many instruments. Fill out the form and we'll walk you through all the options — no pressure, no surprises.
